Bears shut down against Ducks

Last Tuesday the Bastrop Bears baseball team couldn’t get on track as they fell on the road to the Taylor Ducks 2-0. The Bears were able to only muster five hits in the game and never crossed home plate. R Hibbs was the high hitter for the Bears, going 2-for-3 with a double and a single. While pitching was strong on both sides, the Ducks managed to book end their runs, scoring in the bottom of the first and the bottom of the sixth.
