Much as they had all season, Bastrop High School’s boys’ varsity basketball team competed with a talented league opponent, Manor, late into the second half last Tuesday; but the Mustangs were able to come away with a 65-46 victory, on what was the Bears’ Senior Night.The win brought Manor even to Weiss atop the 5A Region III District 18 standings, with each squad holding identical league records of 12-2.
