The Bastrop Bears lost a nail-biter of a football game last Thursday against Lehman.Facing a 40-34 deficit in the final minutes and with no timeouts, Bastrop had to execute a two-minute drill to perfection. In need of a big play, quarterback Seth Mouser threw a dart over the middle to Reagan Nielsen for a 26-yard gain, setting up first-and-goal from the nine yard-line. Three plays later, and with one last chance, Seth Mouser rolled left and lofted up a pass that was intercepted as time expired.
