Difficulty completing the internet survey with unreliable internet

I have tried to fill out the (Bastrop County internet) survey three times, and my AT&T internet connection keeps dropping off and I have to start all over again.

This is also the third time I tried to fill out this email.

We have had AT&T out here several times and they finally admitted they can only give us 3 mgs with the tower being at the VFW hall, which is two-tenths of a mile from our home. There are also two more towers near and they do not help.

AT&T finally said that it is due to their cables to the homes and businesses in the Elgin area. They have fiber cables laid along the highways but do not run them to any home or business as it would cost them too much. They put the fiber cables in for show as far as I can figure. They claim that some places in Austin have such service but not everyone.

Check with the AT&T employee at their building here in Elgin and they may be honest with you as one I spoke with was with me.

I spend more time trying to connect than I do reading my messages and I bank online.
