Wayne Lee Gummelt, 75, of Valley Mills, TX, passed away October 26, 2021. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 6, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021.
Wayne was born December 21, 1945, in Waco, TX, to Edward and Gladys Gummelt. He worked at AT&T, formally Southwestern Bell for over 25 years. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Gladys Gummelt; and his sister, Brenda Thornton. He is survived by his two sons, Kevin Gummelt and James Gummelt.
