Susan Lee Gallagher Krueger

Susan Lee Gallagher Krueger, 71, of Elgin, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Susan was born in Anaheim, California to William Lee Gallagher and Jean Bell Gibson Gallagher on November 16, 1949. She graduated from Sunny Hills High School and then attended Fullerton Junior College. She married Gary Krueger on December 24, 1972. Susan didn’t want a lot of hoopla, so they got married in Las Vegas at the drive-thru chapel.

She and Gary moved to Elgin, Texas in September of 1996. She worked at the HEB in Elgin from the day it opened and retired from there after 17 years. She and Gary were involved in a lot of charity work for HEB.

Susan enjoyed traveling, especially to Mexico. She loved the beach. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Susan was a very friendly and loving person. She never met someone she didn’t like. 

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Gary Krueger and her daughter, Nancy Dudman. 

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Susan’s family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all her doctors and nurses who took care of her and to all her friends and family that have expressed their sympathy.
