Pamela Young Shockley passed away on May 4, 2021, just a few weeks short of her 91st birthday, surrounded by her children, who kept an unwavering vigil at her bedside, until God called her Home.  Pam will be laid to rest at Austin Memorial Park, Saturday, May 8th at 9:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at Covenant United Methodist Church of Austin, with her niece, the Reverend, Stella Burkhalter presiding.  Memorial Contributions may be made in her Honor to Meals on Wheels, Alzheimer’s Foundation, and/or Hospice Austin.  Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home. ...
