Lauren Kay Sutton was born on January 16, 2013, in Austin, Texas, to Christopher and Nancy Cawley Sutton. Lauren passed away suddenly on August 5, 2019, doing what she really enjoyed. Lauren always had a special relationship with Jesus and our Little Angel is now in heaven in His arms. Lauren was the light and joy to her family for 6 years and loved her family and life. She was an active, fun-loving little girl, who loved horses, enjoyed creating colorful pictures, dancing, tumbling, and singing. She would tell her grandfather, “she was Papa’s little cowgirl.” She dearly loved to spend time doing things with her older brother, Jack; she always thought whatever he could do, she could do also. She loved to help in the garden – planting and eating the fruit and veggies. Lauren was a student at the Brentwood Christian School of Austin and would have begun the first grade in the fall.

Lauren was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Pam Sutton of Wichita Falls; great-grandmother, Betty Taylor of Wichita Falls; and great-grandfathers, Jim Cawley of

Eldorado and Glenn Dietzel “Geepa” of Victoria.

Lauren is survived by her parents and her brother, Jack Riley Sutton of Manor; her maternal grandparents, John Ben and Cindy Cawley of Eldorado; her paternal grandparents, Henry and Hazel Sutton of Wichita Falls; her great-grandparents, Billy Cawley of Eldorado and Barbara

Dietzel of Victoria; her aunts and uncles, Scott (BriElle) Cawley of Breckenridge, James (Michelle) Powers of Dallas; her little cousins, CharLotte and Riley Cawley and Hayden Powers; her great-uncles, Allen Dietzel of Belton, Monty Taylor and Nathan Taylor of Wichita Falls, and Dennis Taylor of Burleson; her great-aunts & uncles; Charles and Janelle Kesler of Fort Worth, Rob and Alice Sutton of Pflugerville, Gary and Cherie Henry of Coppell, Randy and Sherri Sutton of Wichita Falls, LeAnne and Steve Skinner of Austin, Jimmy and Dora Cawley of Graham, Bill and Kathy Cawley of Grapeland, and Sally Cawley of Fort Worth; her great-great-aunts & uncles; Ken (Pam) Lemke, Mike and Jayne Lemke all of Victoria; and many other family members.
