Carol passed away peacefully on June 30, 2020. She was born on March 26, 1943 in Hempstead, Texas to J.B. and Edna Cole. She graduated from Elgin High School and then worked in Austin for a short time before marrying Darryl Carlson. Most of her professional career was spent as a loving wife, mother and self-employed Wallpaper Contractor. Carol and Darryl lived in several states before residing in Clear Lake (Houston, TX) for over 30 years, then returning to Elgin in 2008.
