Carol passed away peacefully on 06/30/2020. She was born on March 26, 1943 in Hempstead, Texas to J.B. and Edna Cole. She graduated from Elgin High School and then worked in Austin for a short time before marrying Darry Carlson. Most of her professional career was spent as a loving wife, mother and self-employed Wallpaper Contractor. Carol and Darryl lived in several states before residing in Clear Lake (Houston, TX) for over 30 years, then returning to Elgin in 2008.
