Bessie Dean Teague, age 80, of Elgin, Texas, passed away on May 24, 2021. Bessie was born in Austin, Texas on October 30, 1940, to Albert Moreland and Madora Vasterling. She graduated from Austin High in 1959. Bessie married Paul Leon Teague on July 1, 1967. She retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2000. Bessie loved to do hand embroidery and made several pillowcases for family members. She was well known for her chocolate chips cookies; they were requested for every gathering. Bessie is survived by her husband, Paul Leon Teague, her daughters, Beth Pińa and Betty Davidson, her grandchildren,
