Amonte Lamonte Mendez, 17, of Austin, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. Family and friends will gather at Elgin Funeral Home Friday, May 13th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Saturday, May 14th at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Colorado Chapel Cemetery.
