“Brandy”

This obituary is for my best friend Brandy.

Brandy was also my service dog. She did untold number of things for me including monitoring my blood pressure, going for help when I was down, helping me get up off the ground and other actions not pertaining to me. One occasion, she pulled the leash from my hand and went to a baby on the concrete floor, inspected the child then positioned her paws on each side to protect the baby. A month before she was put down, she knocked my bedroom door open in the middle of the night, led me through the house and barked in the kitchen where I saw the oven on fire. She always approached special needs people, people in wheelchairs, alerted to the sound of a crying child, would find the crier and most times quieted the child. She went with me in the ambulance, emergency room, MRI, and all doctors appointments.

A memorial fund has been set up in her name to possibly help find another service do — a Vizsla pup for me to love, bond with and train. The fund is set up at 1st National Bank, 1312 U.S. 290, Elgin, TX. Brandy's account: Brent Clark.
