The Texas Department of Transportation will have weekly lane closures on US 290 from SH 95 North to SH 95 South in Elgin to make repairs and repave the road. The work will take place Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. and will continue weekly until early June, weather permitting. Drivers should expect single lane closures in each direction of US 290 throughout the duration of the paving project.
