McDade students are studying hard this week and prepping for the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) on April 9 through 12. We are looking forward to another year of great student achievement on the STAAR tests this year. The Mc-Dade Independent School District was awarded the highest state A-F rating in Bastrop County last year with a “B” overall rating by the Texas Education Agency.
