On October 20 at approximately 8:57 p.m., Elgin emergency communications received several 911 calls regarding shots fired in the 500 block of Brenham Street. Patrol officers responded to the scene and located evidence, near the intersection of East Brenham Street and McDade Road, suggesting that a shooting did occur. As officers were investigating, additional 911 calls were received, reporting shots fired in the area of Lexington Road and North Avenue F. Officers responded and located a second crime scene. Officers were able to collect evidence to suggest several different calibers of a firearm were discharged on both scenes. At this time,
