Relive the history of Austin's Little Colony before and after Elgin was founded with Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration Tuesday, Nov. 1.The real individuals portrayed during the 150th Cemetery events are not fictional characters. Featured families in the Elgin Mexican Cemetery include the Flores' "infant of Pedro and Maria," Pablo Rosas, Juan Garcia, and veteran, Enemencia Vilegas.
