Arthur Gibson III, Skyler Maldonado and Matthew Callahan won the majority of votes for Wards 1, 2 and 3 on the Elgin City Council, according to the results available on the evening of Election Day. By 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, the Bastrop County Elections Department released the full unofficial results for the city council and school board races in this year’s May 1 elections.
