County investigators arrested a convicted felon in Elgin in possession of a stolen firearm earlier this month. On March 15, investigators from the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) narcotics unit received information that a convicted felon, 40-year-old Steven Clint Thomas, possessed multiple stolen firearms, according to an announcement posted to the BSCO Facebook Page.
