On Saturday, March 21, at 12:18 a.m., Taylor Police responded to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Taylor for a deceased female with a gunshot wound to the face. The deceased is identified as Jade Erwin, 17 years, of Elgin. Two subjects had fled on foot from the hospital prior to police arrival. Taylor Patrol Officers apprehended a female and a male subject, later identified as Marquis Wilson, 25, of Elgin. The two were found hiding in a dumpster behind Beall’s Department Store.
