EISD says no on solar farm break

A solar farm slated for local development will not have financial help from Elgin Independent School District.On Oct. 24, the school board effectively said no to tax abatements for a company’s solar farm project by unanimously voting to end the district’s consideration of the Chapter 313 appraised value limitation application from Dogwood Creek Solar LLC.
