The Elgin City Council approved an agreement during last week’s meeting with a developer building a subdivision on County Line Road to pay for part of the improvements on that road.
A $16.4 million improvement project for North County Line Road is listed in the city’s five-year capital improvement plan. The project is broken up into three phases, each costing a little over $5 million, and would upgrade about 12,000 linear feet of road from Highway 290 to Carlson Lane.
