The Elgin ISD school board approved schematic designs for a fourth elementary school and additional facilities at Elgin High School, funded by the school district’s bond package passed last November.During the Elgin ISD school board’s most recent regular meeting on May 16, Pfluger Architects and PBK Architects presented the plans for a new elementary school in the future Harvest Ridge subdivision and the expansion of the Elgin High School, respectively.Both projects are at the start of the design development stage as of mid-May and are scheduled to begin construction in early 2023.
