Earlier this month, the state released its latest annual “report cards” for school districts and school campuses throughout Texas. Many of Bastrop County’s schools and districts saw similar or improved grades compared to last year.
This is the second year the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released reports through the school report card system. Last year, only districts were given A-F letter grades, while individual campuses were given scores out of 100. This year, the campuses were also given letter grades corresponding to their scores.
