The City of Elgin and Bastrop County have contributed thousands of dollars to help rebuild after the destruction brought by the March 21 tornado.During their April 19 meeting, the Elgin City Council discussed a resolution to contribute $25,000 from city funds to help support the recovery efforts for those who were affected by the tornado.
