As the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) continues to operate on a modified program that promotes social distancing, the sheriff’s office is still fulfilling our law enforcement responsibility. Earlier this month, the sheriff’s office received a report of a residential burglar in the northeast part of the county. At least two suspects entered a residence that was occupied by an elderly couple. The suspects managed to remain undetected as they removed items from the residence.
