Bastrop ISD: Bond Election 2021

In the fall of 2019 and 2020, a Citizens Advisory Task Force made up of 59 community members studied, analyzed and weighed the current and future needs of Bastrop ISD. The committee considered instructional needs, demographic trends, growth in enrollment, and the district's bond capacity. The task force recommended to the BISD School Board a comprehensive bond package to address these needs, and the school board approved a bond election for $183,650,000 with no tax rate increase.
