Bastrop County cities receive $28 million to protect against storm damage

The 2021 hurricane season is only days away, and with it comes the potential for heavy rain and flooding along the Colorado River. Bastrop County has endured multiple significant rain events including Memorial Day flooding in both 2015 and 2016, the Halloween flood in 2015, the 2016 Tax Day Flood and then Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
