Attorney general announces lawsuit against Elgin ISD

Elgin ISD is one of six schools that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he is filing lawsuits against regarding mask mandates.In a press release on Friday, Paxton’s office announced the filing of six lawsuits against six Texas school districts that have implemented mask requirements at school, accusing them of defying Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order GA-38 prohibiting such mask mandates by government entities.
