The annual Swedish Midsummer celebration and reunion will take place on June 20 at the Elgin SPJST Hall. Professional accordionist Chris Rybak will be the featured entertainer. A social hour and Swedish store will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a chicken fried steak dinner at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a Swedish bakery. Girls and boys of all ages are invited to put on flowers and march around the maypole.
