Friends of Bastrop County Animal Shelter (BCAS), the nonprofit organization supporting the local animal shelter, is dissolving at the end of the year and will no longer take donations.Friends of BCAS was formed in 2008 as a volunteer-driven nonprofit with the mission of supporting the Bastrop County Animal Shelter.
