Austin Community College closes Friday, 3/13, due to COVID-19 cases in region

AUSTIN, Texas (March 13, 2020) – Austin Community College will close at 10 a.m. Friday, March 13, in the best interest of students and employees after two presumptive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the region overnight. Only essential personnel should report to work today. At this time, there are no known reports of COVID-19 cases associated with the college.   The college will continue to monitor the developments. At this time, campus operations are expected to resume after the spring break on March 23 to prepare for working, teaching, and learning in an online environment.
