In response to the COVID-19 negative impact on business operations throughout the community, the Elgin Economic Development Corporation launched an Emergency Grant Program on Friday to assist local businesses. “These funds can be used by businesses to directly address their immediate operating needs,” said EDC Board President Bryan Bracewell. The EDC approved $50,000 towards grants in the amount of $2,000 per business.
