County approves agreements for COVID-19 response

On Monday morning, the Bastrop County Commissioners’ Court discussed the recent efforts to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and approved a series of agreements to aid those efforts. Monday was the 85th day since a state of local disaster was declared in Bastrop County. As of the beginning of this week, the county’s COVID-19 testing site has administered 1,137 tests, and a total of 1,594 tests have been given in Bastrop County, emergency management deputy director Christine Files said in her update to the commissioners’ court.
