The grounds of Valkyrie Ranch, between Paige and Smithville on FM 2014, was alive with music, performances and tradition at the annual Texas Viking Festival’s Midsommar celebrations on June 10, 11, 17 and 18. Entertainment included several bands, such as Saxon Moon, and dancing groups such as Solar Rain. This year’s festival featured a full concert on June 11 by Corvus Corax, a German band that has not played in the United States in nearly 18 years.Now that the Midsommar festival series has concluded, the Texas Viking Festival’s next event will be celebrating Yuletide in December.See more photos and learn more ...
