Smithville’s Richard D. Latham Cultural District is thrilled to be working on two projects funded in part through grants from the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA). Smithville was awarded a grant for wayfinding signs last fall, and is starting the “Historic Coloring Book” project this spring. The Historic Coloring Book is based on the mural project at the DAEP highlighting the historic people, places and events that make Smithville what it is today.
