The Bastrop County Democratic Party hosted a March to the Polls and a rally for Bastrop County women at the Bastrop County Courthouse on Saturday afternoon. The event featured live music until 5 p.m., when the polls closed at the courthouse, at which time women running for both local and state elected positions addressed the attendees. Also on Saturday afternoon, supporters of President Donald Trump paraded in vehicles around the courthouse for a time during the rally, displaying flags and signs in support of the president.
