The Noon Lions Club, which meets every Thursday at Schulman Theatres Film Alley, has set up blessing boxes throughout Bastrop. The club, which was formed during the pandemic, has over twenty members and it is still growing. The idea for the blessing boxes came from the Smithville Noon Lions Club. The blessing boxes are there to offer assistance to community members who may find themselves in a position where they need just a few extra blessings.
