To celebrate Halloween, the McDade Historical Society hosted a “trunk-or-treat” in downtown McDade on Saturday evening. Community members brought their vehicles, decorated for Halloween, to Old Highway 20 between Waco Street and Bastrop Street, to hand out candy for costumed trick-or-treaters.
