Local artists and vendors braved the threat of rain to participate in Friday evening's Pink Moon Luna Market at Earthen Metals in downtown Elgin, hosted by local artist and maker group She Creates Union. This most recent Luna Market was postponed from the previous Friday due to possible rain, but this weekend, the storm clouds held off long enough for the market to stay dry. In addition to the usual live music and booths offering various wares, the Luna Market featured local troupe Stage East celebrating William Shakespeare's recent birthday by performing an excerpt of A Midsummer Night's Dream.   Photos by ...
