Crowds, live music, the aroma of barbecue and everything pink were back in downtown Elgin after last year’s hiatus for the 34th annual Hogeye Festival on Saturday, October 23.Hogeye weekend kicked off in downtown Elgin with Thursday night’s Hogeye Stroll, which featured the opening gala of the Pearls Before Swine Art Show and the judging of the Hogalicious Dessert Contest.
