The dedication of the Post Oak Island historical marker will take place outdoors, but under the cover of the pavilion next to the Type Cemetery at 1200 County Road 466 at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14.Everyone is invited to come and learn about the history of a vanished plantation in a community that changed drastically after the Civil War.
