H-E-B honors local first responders for 9/11

On September 11, employees from H-E-B stores across the state volunteered at their neighborhood fire stations as part of the Helping Heroes day of service. In Elgin, H-E-B adopted the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department. On Wednesday afternoon, volunteers from H-E-B brought food and water to the fire station to serve lunch to the firefighters.
