Local restaurants teamed up with the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry to serve up soup and raise funds for and awareness of food insecurity in Bastrop County at this year’s Empty Bowl.The “Empty Bowl” theme of this annual fundraiser helps raise awareness about poverty and food uncertainty in the local community.
