During its meeting on March 17, the Board of Trustees of the Friends of Elgin Library named Mike and Beth Walterscheidt as special benefactors. The Walterscheidts, who own the Elgin Christmas Tree Farm, have been the largest contributors to the Friends of Elgin Library each year over many years.
