Flowers planted around Elgin bring awareness to child abuse

Children’s Advocacy Center serving Bastrop, Lee and Fayette Counties partnered with the Elgin Police Department and the Main Street and Parks & Recreation departments to light up the town in blue for Child Abuse Awareness Month this April. Garden beds around the City of Elgin were transformed into beautiful plots of flowers by volunteers on Tuesday, April 6, which include information on Children’s Advocacy Center.
