Fire departments bring holiday cheer to downtown McDade

Parade spectators and their vehicles lined Old Highway 20 in downtown McDade all the way from Waco Street to Marlin Street to watch a festive display of lights on Saturday evening. The lighted Christmas parade was put on by the Elgin and McDade volunteer fire departments. The parade included not only fire trucks from Elgin, McDade and other fire departments, but local organizations, festivals and businesses.
