The Elgin Intermediate School PTA put on their first Family Fun Run on Friday, April 1. Many families came out to be active with their students and the EIS family, with 123 participants, 11 volunteers from the Elgin High School National Honor Society and a donation of fruit and water for the runners from HEB. EIS PTA President Erin Anderson said the PTA has great support from the school’s parents and administration and was encouraged by the number of families who attended the Fun Run.
