Elgin Arts Association offers art camp, upcoming art show and scholarship

The Elgin Arts Association (EAA) Spring Break Art Camp was a huge success with 41 students participating last week, EAA collaborating with Elgin Parks & Recreation to hold their camp in local Elgin parks, and The Clever Tiger teaching staff of Kyle and Ashley Smith as well as EAA’s Megan Stuart. Their fun activities included painting flower pots, painting rocks and making a rock garden for Morris Park, water color nature art, decorating and stenciling gift bags, and mural chalk art. Other EAA helpers included Brock Logan, Lucretia Alvarez, Deborah DeGezelle and Barbara Bogart. Local sponsors included Bloomers Garden Center,
