The Elgin High School Class of 1969 celebrated its 51st year since graduation on October 24. Twenty-three classmates, along with spouses, gathered at the Rising Sun Vineyard in McDade to reminisce and share stories of their lives. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, face shields were provided and social distancing was observed. Showing his determination to attend the get-together, Aubrey Lewis traveled from Port Arthur with a broken foot! Also attending were Don and Sylvia Hudson.
